Super Plastronics has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of a new 55-inch 4K Smart TV, called the “Kodak 55-inch 4K UHD Smart TV” in the Indian home entertainment market. If you are not aware of this, Super Plastronics Private Ltd is a start-up company, which has the official permit to manufacture, distribute and sell Kodak-branded televisions countrywide. Priced at Rs. 43,990, the new Kodak 55-inch 4K UHD smart TV will be made available for purchase in India starting later of this month exclusively via e-commerce website Flipkart.com in Black colour option.
Commenting on the launch, Avneet Singh Marwah, Director, Super Plastronics Private Limited (SPPL), said, “Witnessing the success of our initial product line in the Indian market, we are proud to add this 4K TV to the lineup. The Kodak 4K UHD smart TV comes equipped with a 55-inch 4K UHD panel with a screen resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a wide colour range for your ultimate 4K viewing experience. The screen offers a 178-degree viewing angle that provides a perfect panoramic visual without compromising luminance and colour fidelity. The TV draws its power from a 1.4GHz dual-core (Cortex A53) processor paired with Mali T720 GPU. In terms of memory, the 4K TV is backed up by a 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. On the software front, the latest Kodak 55-inch 4K UHD smart TV runs on Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and comes loaded with Aptoide app store. Now you can download your favourite apps from the Aptoide TV app store.
In terms of audio, the Kodak TV comes packed with 2×10-watt speakers, which produces a proper level of dynamic sound. Sound Mode on the television includes Standard, User, Music, Movie, and Sports. In terms of connectivity, the Kodak 4K UHD smart TV offers various connectivity options including HDMI, Wi-Fi, LAN connectivity, and Screencast. By using this Screencast technology, you can easily project, connect a display to the TV. Ports on the TV include 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, one LAN port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device comes with a smart remote, which has dedicated buttons for YouTube, Netflix, and Hotstar.
