Remember Avatar? The 2009 movie which created history by revolutionizing the way CGI is being used and it’s still the best way to render the CGI impact-proof being, that it’s still the #1 movie of all-time!
But right now, its not about Avatar, but James Cameron, the great director who will be back soon in 2018, with a similar kind of story like his 2009 Academy Award winning movie (Visual Effects). And this time the movie that’s he working on is Alita: Battle Angel.
The first trailer for the movie has just been released by the studio, 20th Century Fox, a few hours ago, and its guaranteed that you will get a vibe of ‘Avatar-ish’ sensation, when you see a completely digital female character walking among real humans, and she’s called Alita.
The movie is actually based on Japanese Manga series, Battle Angel Alita, by Yukito Kishiro.
Though, James Cameron has taken the role of the producer for the big-budgeted sci-fi movie, the directing responsibilities have been handed to Robert Rodriguez (Spy Kids, Machete, Grindhouse).
Whether or not the movie will be able to match Avatar’s charishma in any sense, is yet to be seen. But you have to watch the trailer to see Alita’s rendition!
Alita: Battle Angel stars Rosa Salazar (Maze Runner: The Death Cure), in the title role, along with Academy Award winner Christopher Waltz as Dr. Dyson.
The movie will be released on July 20th, 2018.
