Warner Bros. has just released a new official poster for next year’s most anticipated movie (surely, after Avengers: Infinity War), Tomb Raider, a rebooted, big-screen adaptation of the hit 2013 video game of the same name. The new poster shows Alicia Vikander, as Lara Croft, giving a ‘don’t-mess-with-me’ brave stare!
Vikander will play the iconic adventurer from the game, who goes on a search for her father’s lost secret and later ends up on an ancient tomb, on an isolated mystical island off the coast of Japan.
Directed by Roar Uthaug, the movie will also feature other famed actors like Wolton Goggins, who’s playing the ultimate villain to Vikander’s Croft.
Many fans are hoping that the movie will definitely be able to break the ‘video game-to-movie jinx’, and emerge out as the new hope for future big-screen adaptations to other video games.
Distributed by Warner Bros and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Tomb Raider is slated for the official release on March 16th, 2018.
Well, right now, just check out the new poster for the movie, below, and give your opinion.
