Vidisha Vishwas, a software engineer by profession has become the Facebook sensation in a very short period of time. She is presently staying in Ireland where she went to pursue her MS. She completes her education till 9th grade in Bangalore and after that she moves to Mangalore. In Mangalore, she studies classical music from shyamala bhat and completed the junior exam.
She uploads short videos of her singing popular Kannada and Hindi songs. She got a good response for Kannada songs as compared to the Hindi songs. In addition, She was able to connect to her fans fairly well by singing Kannada songs.
She uploads her short videos both on Facebook and Instagram. Her Facebook page has 69,400 likes and still counting and almost every video has 5000 likes. Singing was just a hobby for her since childhood. Today she is receiving an overwhelming response from her fans for her soulful voice. Initially she started with the Hindi songs. Once she sang Mungaru Male title song and also Mungaru Male 2, both of them became very famous in short span of time. At that moment she realized the number of listeners for Kannada songs are pretty good. She feels good for being appreciated by such large number of fans in such a short span of time.
She has such an amazing voice that her fans call her the next Shreya Ghosal. Majority of her fans are waiting for her debut in sandalwood.
As her mother tongue is Sanskrit she loves to sing songs in every language. On seeing that fans didn’t like her songs other than Kannada songs, she says it’s senseless to see the patriotism at this point. Many of her fans want her to come over to sandalwood. Though she received singing offers she still wants to continue with the life she is leading now. She wants to work, improve and learn many things.
