Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are coming together for yet another film. The new film is also under Karan Johar’s Dharma Production banner. The movie is called Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
The trailer for the movie has released. The movie is considered the sequel to the 2014 Romantic Comedy Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. Badrinath Ki Dulhania indeed have similarities to the 2014 movie. Both the movies were written and directed by Shashank Khaitan. The lead pair are the same for both the movies.

In Badrinath ki Dulhania, Varun Dhawan potrays a typical UP boy named Badrinath Bansal aka Badri. Badri is a 10th pass happy go lucky guy. Badri falls in love with Vaidehi Trivedi, a college student. For Vaidehi respect is as important as love. The movie depicts Badri and Vaidehi’s love story which is filled with humour, drama and lots of singing and dancing. Badinath Ki Dulhania brings back songs from the past. Ammal Malik, Tanishk Bagchi and Akhil Sachdeva are the music composers for the film and they have brought back a few hit songs from the past. Tamma Tamma originally performed by Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt is brought back in the film with a rap bu Baadshah. Also, the famous Holi song ” Holi Khele Raghuveera” by Amitabh Bachchan is in the film.
The trailer for the film was launched with much fanfare by the film’s producer Karan Johar, Director Shashank Khaitan and the lead pair Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. At the launch Karan Johar revealed that there will be a third installment for this series. During the interaction with press Varun confessed to have consumed a lot of alcohol during filming. Varun also claimed that Alia will make a good bahu but when asked if she will make a good wife he replied I can’t say.
The trailer looks promising with both Alia and Varun looking great together as a couple.
