Veteran actor Radharavi has retired from the film industry and he has joined the political business.He is the son of yesteryear actor M.R.Radha and the uncle of Vasu Vikram and half-brother of Raadhika Sarathkumar.
He has joined DMK party, in a recent event while addressing the party, he offended political rivals MDMK’s Vaiko and PMK’s S Ramadoss and compared them to differently-abled children.
In a terrible display of insensitivity, actor-politician Radha Ravi mocked children with disabilities in a public speech during DMK leader MK Stalin’s birthday celebrations on 1 March.
DMK’s Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi has raised her objections to Radharavi’s derogatory comments and has condemned the same.
Disability groups protested in Chennai against the insensitive speech, and raised slogans demanding Radha Ravi’s arrest. They held posters asking for him to apologise for his low remarks.
Activist Deepak Nathan said “The way Radha Ravi dramatically enacted differently abled people was so demeaning. Being part of a party who’s leader is also on a wheelchair, it’s ironic that he could make such remarks,”

Radharavi came out and cleared the fact that the comments have been misled and he never meant to insult the kids.
