After launching the FRC 348 plan, Indian mobile network operator Aircel on Friday introduced a new First Recharge tariff plan, called the “FRC 449” for the residents of Jammu & Kashmir. The First Recharge Coupon 449 offers its new prepaid subscribers or new Aircel SIM buyers unlimited voice calling (any network Local + STD) and 2GB 3G/2G data per day for 84 days. Under this “FRC 449” special recharge scheme, new subscribers recharging with Rs. 449 can avail free unlimited voice calling to any network and any region in the country, along with 2GB of 3G or 2G (depending on the circle) mobile data per day for a period of 84 days, totalling 168GB 3G/2G data for the period. Note that, FRC 449 is a First Recharge Coupon that means only new subscribers can avail this FRC scheme and enjoy the best value voice and data proposition in the said period.

Apart from this, there is also a first recharge plan called FRC 229, where the company offers unlimited voice calling along with 1GB 3G/2G data per day for 84 days. Under this Rs. 229 plan, customers recharging with Rs. 229 can avail free unlimited voice calling to the same network (Aircel to Aircel) and any region in the country, along with 1GB of 3G or 2G (depending on the circle) mobile data for a period of 56 days, totalling 84GB 3G/2G data for the period.

“Aircel has always laid focus on catering to the customer needs offering maximum value in its products and services. The new plans are a special offering of unlimited voice calls and unmatched 3G data which will empower our customers especially students and work professionals to stay connected the whole day and get an uninterrupted access to the internet with the best value for money products and enjoy the unexplored world of videos, music, movies and entertainment,” Harish Sharma, Regional Manager – North, Aircel said in a statement.

With the launch of its new FRC 449 and FRC 229 plans, Aircel is aggressively going to compete against the major telecom company like Reliance Jio, Idea Cellular, Vodafone India, and others. Needless to say, in the Indian telecom industry, the entry of Reliance Jio is a great momentum behind the new-age price war. The Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio has recently extended its “Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan” offer with a new Rs. 399 plan. Under Reliance Jio’s new Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, Jio Prime members recharging with Rs. 399 can avail free unlimited voice calling, SMSes, and 1GB 4G mobile data per day for a period of 84 days, totalling 84GB 4G data for the period.

The news comes just two days after Vodafone announced a new First Recharge Coupon (FRC) 445 for the Maharashtra & Goa subscribers. The First Recharge Coupon (FRC) 445 offers its new prepaid customers unlimited voice calling to any network and any region in the country, along with 1GB of 3G or 4G (depending on the circle) mobile data per day for a period of 84 days, totalling 84GB 3G/4G data for the period.

A few days ago, Vodafone also launched an affordable First Recharge Coupon (FRC) 244 for its new 4G pre-paid customers. Under the “FRC 244” special recharge, new Vodafone subscribers recharging with Rs. 244 can avail free unlimited voice calling to the same network and any region in the country, along with 1GB of 3G/4G data per day for a period of 70 days, totalling 70GB 3G/4G data for the period. This scheme will be valid for a period of 70 days on the first recharge with the amount of Rs. 244, and from the second recharge, the validity span will be reduced to 35 days with the same amount.

State-run telecom operator BSNL has recently launched a new combo voucher, called “Rakhi pe Saugaat” plan for its prepaid subscribers. The new BSNL “Rakhi pe Saugaat” plan offers its prepaid subscribers unlimited voice calling (same network Local + STD) and 1GB 3G data per day for five days. Further, the plan offers a main talk time balance of Rs. 74, so that BSNL subscribers can make calls on the other networks.

Earlier in this month, BSNL also announced the launch of its three new recharge plans for Punjab and Gujarat BSNL subscribers as per a listing on the BSNL’s official website.
