Asus today expanded its already popular Zenfone series by launching three new smartphones, Zenfone 4 Pro, Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 4 Max 5.2”.
The all new models have been launched in the US by the smartphone maker.
Let’s go straightly to the newly launched phones and what they offer differently, this time.
Zenfone 4 Pro
Starting with the top one among the new Zenfone siblings, the Zenfone 4 Pro comes with a 3600mAh of battery and is backed up by a whopping 6 GB of RAM. Display is sized at 5.5” which is a 1080p AMOLED screen. Storage is good with an inbuilt capacity of 64 GB while the best thing about the phone is its processor which is the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset, by Qualcomm.
Coming onto the photography part, there is a dual-rear camera setup with one being a 12 MP shooter (1/2.55” sensor, 1.4µm pixels and f/1.7 aperture) and the other being of 16 MP with 2x fixed optical zoom capability. On the front, there is a 8 MP selfie camera (f/1.9 aperture and 1.4µm pixel size).
The OS platform is taken care of by Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The phone will be available in black colour only and will be shipped by November 6th, with a price tag of a solid $599!
Zenfone 4
Then there is the Zenfone 4 which comes with a 3300 mAh of battery and is supported by a decent 4 GB of RAM. It has a 5.5” 1080p IPS LCD display. The speed and performance is backed up by Snapdragon 630 SoC, while the internal storage is a good 64 GB which is expandable too. The OS platform is supported by Android Nougat 7.1.1.
Coming on the camera part, this phone also comes with a rear dual-camera setup with both being of 12 MP. The primary camera sensor at the back has f/1.8 aperture while the second camera has a 120 degree wide-angle lens.
As per the speculations, it may come in two options, namely, Moonlight White and Midnight Black. The phone will be shipped with the Pro version on November 6th, priced at $399.
Zenfone 4 Max 5.2”
The last one announced by Asus is the Zenfone 4 Max 5.2” and its already obvious by its name that it does something different by bringing a display of 5.2” (a balance between 5inch and 5.5inch) and a 720p resolution. As it’s a bit mediocre than Zenfone 4 Pro and Zenfone 4, this one comes with just a 2 GB of RAM, but has the biggest battery power as compared to its two giant siblings, with a strong 4100 mAh battery.
All the ‘Max’ named Zenfones have boasted a good battery capacity in recent times. The storage capacity has been limited to 16 GB but it can be expanded. The OS platform is supported by Android Nougat 7.0, while the speed and performance is backed up by a Snapdragon 425 chipset.
On the camera part, the Zenfone 4 Max 5.2” too comes with a rear dual-camera setup! There is a 13+5 MP set of lenses and on the front, a 8 MP snapper for selfies. This model may come out after November 3rd, and will be available only in black colour, with a price tag of around $169.
