Christopher Nolan will be arriving soon...

All the Chris Nolan fans and movie geeks, attention! The celebrated filmmaker and master director of modern classics like Inception, Interstellar, Memento, The Prestige, The Dark Knight Trilogy and Dunkirk, is going to visit India, at the end of March 2018.

It’s officially been confirmed now that Nolan will be in Mumbai between March-April. He will come to spread his thoughts and opinion on his own medium of filmmaking-the photochemical film.

He will talk about the importance of using the ‘film’ for shooting and producing the movies even in today’s digital era of high-tech film-making. And since Nolan himself has shot and produced each of his movie so far using a ‘film’, he will extend and elaborate his views here, in India too.

He will be accompanied in India by another celebrated visual artist Tacita Dean, on a two-day event. The event, to be held on March 31st and April 1st, will be represented by Film Heritage Foundation, regarding ‘Reframing the Future of Film’.

Nolan himself expressed his happiness, to visit the country and be a part of the Film Heritage Foundation, in a press event saying, “India has such wonderful cinema and such a rich history of art that everything needs to be done to not only encourage its proper preservation for future generations but also to re-introduce the film medium to the younger artistes and filmmakers in the country.”
