Marvel’s Black Panther has already broken many box-office barriers (it’s just broken into the top 10 highest grossing movies of all-time), beginning a new revolution for the future superhero movies. But, it has now achieved an even greater feat than all the previous achievements.
Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther has become the ‘first movie’ (of any genre), to release in the country of Saudi Arabia. Yes, it will be the first movie after 35 years, to release in a movie theater in Saudi Arabia.
Release of any movie in theaters, was banned since 1982, in the country, but now the ban has been lifted.
The Wakandan superhero tale, will be releasing in Saudi Arabia on April 18th, 2018. And of course, it will also boost the box-office collections of Black Panther a bit more!
On the whole, it’s a good and hopeful sign for cinema lovers living in Saudi Arabia and according to fresh reports, it has also been announced that there will be more than 350 movie theaters across Saudi Arabia till 2030.
Great news, right? Wakanda forever!
