As a part of the Raksha Bandhan celebrations, State-owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on Monday launched three new promotional plans for the residents of Karnataka. These new promotional plans include three new combo vouchers, namely Rs. 188, Rs. 289, and Rs. 389. The BSNL Rs. 188, Rs. 289, and Rs. 389 combo recharge plans offer its Karnataka prepaid subscribers full talk time/main account balance and 1GB data for a limited period. All these three combo recharge plans come bundled with mobile data benefit as well as dedicated account balance (as per their value). Notably, these are all promotional plans which will be valid for three months and the vouchers will be precise from August 3, 2017, to October 31, 2017.

Starting with the BSNL Rs. 188 recharge pack, this combo pack offers its subscribers a main account balance of Rs. 189 and 1GB data on a recharge of just Rs. 188. Apart from this, the plan also offers a dedicated account balance of Rs. 31. Note that, this combo pack’s dedicated account balance and the data balance are applicable for a limited time as the validity of the dedicated talk value and data balance is 14 days.

The plan also offers a dedicated account balance of Rs. 51. The validity of the talk value in the dedicated account and data balance for the Rs. 289 plan is 28 days.

Finally, the BSNL Rs. 349 combo voucher plan, the Rs. 349 combo plan provides a main account balance of Rs. 349 and a dedicated account balance of Rs. 71. BSNL Rs. 349 combo voucher also offers a mobile data balance of 1GB. The validity of the talk value in the dedicated account and mobile data balance for the Rs. 349 plan is 30 days.

State-run telecom operator BSNL has recently launched a new combo voucher, called “Rakhi pe Saugaat” plan for its prepaid subscribers on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The new BSNL “Rakhi pe Saugaat” plan offers its prepaid subscribers unlimited voice calling (same network Local + STD) and 1GB 3G data per day for five days. Further, the plan offers a main talk time balance of Rs. 74, so that BSNL subscribers can make calls on the other networks.

Earlier in this month, BSNL also announced the launch of its three new recharge plans for Punjab and Gujarat BSNL subscribers as per a listing on the BSNL’s official website. These new recharge plans include one special tariff voucher (STV) plan (Rs. 258) and two combo vouchers (Rs. 378, and Rs. 548). The new Rs. 258, Rs. 378, and Rs. 548 plans offer its Punjab and Gujarat subscribers unlimited on-net voice calls and up to 5G data per day for 90 days.

Besides these plans, BSNL has a few more attractive “voice and data centric” plans such as the “BSNL Chaukka 444 plan”, “BSNL Sixer-666”, “Dil khol k Bol-349” and “Triple ACE-333” plan, which the company claims it got a ‘successful response’. BSNL Chaukka-444 plan offers unlimited data including 4GB 3G data per day for a period of 90 days on a recharge of just Rs 444. So, 1GB of 3G mobile data will cost less than a rupee, which is the lowest in the telecom sector. Under the Sixer-666 plan, customers recharging with Rs. 666 can avail free unlimited voice calling to any network and any region in the country, along with 2GB of 2G or 3G (depending on the circle) mobile data for a period of 60 days. Triple Ace 333 plan offers unlimited 3G data for two months (recently revised) with a FUP limit of 3GB per day, that means customers recharging with Rs. 333 can avail a total of 168GB 3G data for 56 days.
