Crackdown 3 has been delayed by around four months. The game’s release was scheduled for November 7, 2017, but has now been pushed back to spring 2018.
In an interview with Polygon, Microsoft Studios Publishing’s general manager Shannon Loftis emphasized that the move was intended to provide the developers more time in order to provide a better experience.

Loftis referenced excitement from both players and developers regarding Crackdown 3, but said “we want to make sure to deliver the right game, with the right quality, and at the right time. Crackdown 3 is a hugely ambitious game and we want to ensure we deliver the right experiences all the way through every part of the game.”
This change is not the first time Crackdown’s release has been pushed back. Following its first showing way back in 2014, it was originally scheduled for a 2016 release, but was delayed until this year. Microsoft have continued to try to keep to schedule, stating back in January that Crackdown 3 was still on track for its November release.
