The company offers the new 1.0litre, three-cylinder engine only on the upper-grade T(O) and S trims of the Datsun redi-GO.

“With the positive customer responses to the redi-GO and redi-GO SPORT, we are delighted to offer the redi-GO version with a more powerful 1.0L engine. The redi-GO 1.0L with the iSAT engine is an ideal package for customers looking for attractive design, power and performance,” Jerome Saigot further added.

Once launched in the Indian lucrative market, the Datsun redi-GO 1.0L hatchback will compete against the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800, Hyundai Eon and Renault Kwid.
