No doubt she was the USP for xXx: Return of Xander Cage when it hit theatres in India earlier this year. The high adrenaline action film starring Vin Diesel had quite a lot of expectations and delivered more so for the fans who gave a thumbs up to Deepika Padukone’s casting.
That said, there has been a talk on whether the xXx franchise would see yet another film taking off soon. And, it seems that is happening indeed. It has now been confirmed that discussions for xXx 4 are ongoing and the news was confirmed by Return of Xander Cage director DJ Caruso.
Meanwhile, Indian fans were keen to know whether Deepika Padukone would be appearing in the fourth installment and Caruso replied just what everybody wanted to hear. The filmmaker’s response to a fans’ query on Twitter was short and enthusiastic with an, “Oh, yes,”.
It won’t just be Deepika, who will be returning as all those who survived the big test in Return of Xander Cage including Donnie Yen, Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev, Kris Wu, and Samuel L. Jackson would also be reprising their respective roles.
