Remember the hit song ‘Let It Go’ from the blockbuster Disney movie Frozen? The song was a chart topper and was sung by singer Demi Lovato, as a single and also by Idina Menzel, for the film itself. Now, as per the latest news, a man named Jamie Ciero has sued Demi Lovato, Disney and Idina Menzel for ‘Let It Go’, claiming that the ‘Frozen’ song has striking similarities with one of his songs, titled Volar.
Volar song was recorded in 2008, by Jamie, and he has now claimed that ‘Let It Go’ features the same kind of melodies, note combinations, hooks, lyrics and themes!
Jamie also described that the tune of his song, used in ‘Let It Go’ was a huge success and reached on top of the charts among the best songs, during its arrival, back in 2013.
Frozen, the movie itself was a remarkable and big success for Disney and became the highest grossing animation movie of all-time, raking in around $1.219 billion!
But, now that Jamie has sued Demi Lovato, alongside Disney, it won’t be leaving a good impression on Demi’s fans and of the song’s too!
