Huawei’s sub-brand Honor on Friday launched a new mid-range smartphone, called the “Honor Holly 3 Plus” in the Indian tech market. Although the company did not organise any launch programme event for its Holly 3 Plus smartphone but a Mumbai-based mobile phone retailer, Mahesh Telecom has recently shared this announcement on its official Twitter account. The tweet reads, “#Honor Holly3+ now available for Rs. 12999/- only”. With this tweet, we can expect the Honor Holly 3 Plus to be available via offline channels.
Basically, the Honor Holly 3 Plus is an upgraded version of the company’s previous Holly 3 smartphone, which was launched in India back in October 2016. Honor Holly 3 Plus is very identical to the Holly 3 with respect to design. The only difference between these two siblings is their Memory changes, as the new Honor Holly 3 Plus comes loaded with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. As for pricing and availability, the Honor Holly 3 Plus has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 12,999 and will be made available for purchase starting today via all leading offline retail stores across the country in Gold, Black and White colour options.
Honor Holly 3 Plus Specifications:
In terms of specifications, the new Holly 3 Plus sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 720 × 1280 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz Kirin 620 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. Talking about its software fronts, the Honor Holly 3 Plus runs Google’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box with company’s proprietary EMUI 4.1 custom UI skin running on top.
In terms of optics, Holly 3 Plus features a 13-megapixel rear camera with BSI CMOS sensor, auto-focus, f/2.0 aperture, and an LED flash. On the front, the device sports an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter with f/2.0 aperture for capturing selfies and making video calls.
In terms of connectivity, Holly 3 Plus is a dual SIM smartphone that accepts two GSM SIM cards. Other connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a microUSB v2.0 port for charging and data transfer. Sensors on the Holly 3 Plus include Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, and E-Compass sensor. The Holly 3 Plus is fuelled by a 3100mAh non-removable battery. Dimensionally, the handset measures 154.00 x 77.10 x 8.45 mm and weighs 168 grams.
