American information technology company HP on Wednesday launched its new range of convertible laptops, HP Pavillion x360 and HP Spectre x360 in the Indian computer market. HP’s new range of convertible laptops are powered by Intel’s seventh-generation Core i7 processors and offer a range of new features such as premium design, HP Active Pen stylus support for Windows Ink, upgraded storage options, Bang and Olufsen Audio and multi-touch IPS full-HD display.

HP Pavillion x360 has been launched in India in two variants- HP Pavilion x360 11.6-inch and HP Pavilion x360 14-inch. Both the models will be made available for purchase starting 2nd week of July via select HP online store, HP World stores, online e-commerce sites and all leading offline retail stores across the country at a starting price of Rs. 40,290 for the HP Pavillion X360 11.6-inch model and Rs. 55,290 for the HP Pavillion X360 14-inch model. On the other hand, the HP Spectre x360 is priced at Rs. 1,15,290 and will be made available for purchase starting mid-July via all aforementioned retail stores across the country. All the new range of powerful convertible notebooks come bundled with HP Active Pen stylus support for Windows Ink Workspace feature.

HP Pavilion x360

Starting with the mainstream HP Pavillion X360, the notebook comes in two display panel sizes, 11.6-inch and 14-inch. Both the display comes equipped with IPS full HD touchscreen panel with screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The HP Pavillion X360 sports a flush glass built design, a full-size island-style backlit keyboard. The machine is powered by the 7th generation Intel Core i3 and Core i5 processors coupled with up to 8GB of DDR4 RAM and hybrid storage that consists of 1TB HDD and 8GB SSD (for select models). The 2017 HP Pavillion X360 comes with a 2GB DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce 940MX dedicated graphics card for powerful performance and flawless visuals. Other features on the machine include Bang and Olufsen tuned dual-speaker audio system with HP Audio Boost for crystal clear sound experience. The HP Pavillion X360 packs a denser battery with HP fast charging support. The company claims that the HP Pavillion X360 can able to deliver up to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge.

HP Spectre x360

On the other hand, the lightest and premium device, the HP Spectre x360 laptop sports an all-aluminum chassis with stainless steel hinges and has slim bezel, 13.9mm body thickness and 1.3kgs light. The HP Spectre x360 comes equipped with a 13.3-inch FHD IPS touchscreen display with screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The device is powered by the 7th generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors coupled with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 512GB PCIe SSD storage. The HP Spectre x360 also features Bang and Olufsen tuned dual-speaker audio system with HP Audio Boost and Smart Amp for rich sound experience. The HP Spectre x360 also packs a denser battery with HP fast charging support. The company claims that the device can able to offer up to 12 hours and 45 minutes of battery life on a single charge. As we mentioned above, the notebooks come bundled with a stylus pen, dubbed as the HP Active Pen stylus that can allow users to write down notes, draw a picture, take a quick screenshot, or even magnify a portion of the display.
