After taking a lot of rest in the India smartphone market, now it seems like the US-based handset manufacturer InFocus is all set to launch a new battery-focused smartphone, called the “InFocus Turbo 5” In India on Wednesday, June 28. Last week, the company sent out media invites for the launch of a new smartphone with a huge battery in India on June 28th. The new InFocus Turbo 5 is now listed on e-commerce website Amazon.in. Unfortunately, the pricing details and availability of the InFocus Turbo 5 have not been revealed by the company yet but as expected it might be revealed on the day of launching. However, Amazon India’s listing has shared almost all the specifications and features about the upcoming InFocus device. If the revealed specifications are to be believed, the InFocus Turbo 5 would see a significant overhaul in terms of specifications and arrive with a host of improvements. The main highlight of the device will be its massive 5000mAh battery.

As per the Amazon’s listing, the InFocus Turbo 5 comes equipped with a 5.2-inch semi-HD display with a screen resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.25GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor along with Mali-T720 MP1 GPU to handle the graphics. In terms of memory, the phone is backed up by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. Talking about its software fonts, the InFocus Turbo 5 runs Google’s latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box.
In terms of optics, the InFocus Turbo 5 houses a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and an LED flash. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for capturing selfies and making video calls.
For connectivity, the dual-SIM InFocus Turbo 5 smartphone offers various connectivity options including 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11/b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, FM Radio, a 3.5 mm audio jack and a micro USB port for charging and data transfer. On the battery front, the phone comes packed with a mammoth 5000mAh battery, which claims to deliver up to 23 hours of talktime and 816 hours of standby time. Sensors on the smartphone include an Accelerometer, Ambient Light sensor, Range sensor and a rear-mounted Finger print sensor. Dimensionally, the handset measures at 150.0 x 74.0 x 9.0mm and weighs around 163 grams.
