Soon after launching the PowerPro P41 smartphone in the Indian market, itel Mobile, part of Hong Kong-based mobile manufacturer Transsion Holdings, on Thursday expanded its product portfolio with the launch of a new camera-focused smartphone, called the “itel Selfiepro S41” in the Indian tech market. Carried a price tag of Rs. 6,990, the new itel Selfiepro S41 will be soon available for purchase in India via all leading mortar and brick stores across the country in Slate Grey and Obsidian Black colour options. The main highlights of the device are its decent battery, fingerprint sensor and support for 4G VoLTE (Voice over LTE) and 4G ViLTE (Video over LTE). Interestingly, the PowerPro P41 also comes with a feature like multi-account that allows you to use two WhatsApp accounts simultaneously on the smartphone. The company claims that is the PowerPro P41 is first 4G VoLTE-enabled smartphone to come with 3GB RAM and fingerprint sensor at this price point.

As far as specifications are concerned, the itel Selfiepro S41 comes equipped with a 5-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 1.25GHz MediaTek quad-core processor which comes paired with a Mali 720 GPU to handle the graphics. In terms of memory, the smartphone is backed up by a 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. Now you can store your favourite videos and photos, install latest games, and download or update the applications without worrying about your storage space running out. Talking about its software fronts, the itel Selfiepro S41 runs on Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box.
For photography enthusiasts, the itel Selfiepro S41 features an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and a dual LED flash module. At the front, the smartphone sports an another 8-megapixel full-frame selfie camera with a LED flash for capturing bright selfies and making video calls even in low-light situations. The handset also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for the biometric authentication process. The fingerprint scanner is not only used for unlocking the smartphone, but also it allows users to click a selfie just within 0.1 seconds, answer and record calls, and to configure up to five different applications to five different fingers for quick app launch, according to the company.
In terms of connectivity, the itel Selfiepro S41 supports dual-SIM dual standby connectivity. Apart from this, the smartphone also offers various connectivity options including 4G with VoLTE, 4G with ViLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm audio jack and a microUSB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. Sensors on the smartphone include Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor and Fingerprint sensor (rear-mounted). On the battery front, the itel Selfiepro S41 is fuelled by a decent 2,700mAh removable battery that is rated to deliver up to 9.86 hours of talk time and up to 68.1 hours of standby time. Dimensionally, the handset measures 144 x 72.4 x 8.3 mm.
