It’s a big shame for not only Warner Bros. but also DCEU that its first ever huge, assembled team of superheroes, Justice League, has received such a devastating response from not only the critics, but also from the fans, and due to which, the box-office run of ‘JL’ had been nothing less than a terrible nightmare!
Justice League had a lifetime worldwide collection of just $554.4 million.
And now, a comic, adventurous and action-packed movie, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which is the sequel to the 1995 movie, Jumanji, has now outperformed DC’s Justice League!
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle has grossed a whopping $666.17 million on the worldwide box-office!
And this is when it was almost released with a heavyweight movie, like Star Wars: The Last Jedi, in last year’s December.
But coming back to the defeat it gave to Justice League on the worldwide box-office, it really is a big shame for the DCEU that the most anticipated movie for fans, in all these years, turned out to be so disappointing!
Jumanji 2 however, is still running more than successfully, as it also topped this weekend too against other competitors.
Directed by Jake Kasdan, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle stars Dwayne-The Rock-Johnson, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart and Nick Jonas.
