So, now that Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle has become a monstrous hit, it’s no surprise that it’s has officially outperformed Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok at the box-office! The unexpected blockbuster sequel to 1995’s Jumanji, has now gone past Chris Hemsworth’s Ragnarok in the US!
Made on a budget of just $90 million, Jumanji 2 has so far raked in more than $317 million at the US box-office, that has left Thor: Ragnarok’s domestic collection of $313 million very much behind.
And as its still running greatly, analysts have estimated that Jumanji 2 will end its domestic run in the US at somewhere around $375 million!
Meanwhile, the movie featuring Dwayne Johnson and Karen Gillan has also been predicted to collect a global total of around $820 million at the end of its theatrical run.
Not bad, at all!
