Indian telecommunications company Karbonn on Thursday launched its new mid-ranged 4G VoLTE smartphone in the Indian tech market, dubbed as “Karbonn Aura 4G”. The Karbonn Aura 4G is the latest offering from the company, which comes with a price tag of Rs. 5290 in the country. The smartphone is available in two brand new colour variants – Blue-Champagne and Coffee-Champagne.
In terms of specifications, the dual-SIM smartphone sports a 5-inch HD display and offers a screen resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The Karbonn Aura 4G is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. Talking about its software front, the smartphone runs on Google’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
In terms of photography, the Aura 4G comes with an 8-megapixel camera on the rear panel with LED flash. On the front, Karbonn Aura 4G has a 5-megapixel camera for video calling and capturing selfies.
In terms of connectivity, this dual SIM smartphone offers 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio, a 3.5mm audio jack and a microUSB port for charging and data transfer. The phone is backed by a decent 2150mAh battery. The Karbonn Aura 4G measures 141×72.9x8mm and weighs 138 grams.
