With Google’s Android Wear 2.0 reported to launch on February 9, images of the LG Watch Style have leaked online.
The LG Watch Style and Watch Sport are two of LG’s upcoming watches that would feature Android Wear 2.0.
The images posted on Twitter by leakster Evan Blass (@evleaks), reveal the looks of the smartwatch that is yet to hit the market.
The leaked image shows the LG Watch Style in two colour variants- Silver and Rose Gold. The LG Watch Style in the image has a circular dial, with a metal case and removable leather straps. The smartwatch does not seem to have heart rate monitor.
According to a report by Android Police, the price for Watch Style may start from $249 (around 17,000 INR).
LG Smartwatch Specifications
As per previous reports, both the devices are expected to feature circular OLED displays. While Watch Style may have a 1.2 inch 360×360 pixels display, Watch Sport may come with a 1.38 inch 480×480 pixels display.
With an internal storage of 4GB on both, Watch Style could feature 512MB of RAM and 240mAh battery. Meanwhile, Watch Sport could have 768MB of RAM and 430mAh battery. Watch Style may be the thinner of the two at 10.8mm.
Additionally, reports suggest that Watch Style would have an IP67 certification, indicating that it would be dust resistant and water resistant to an extent. Watch Sport would come with an IP68 certification.
Google has collaborated with LG to bring out the new smartwatches running on Android Wear 2.0. The LG smartwatches are expected to be introduced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona.
