Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok is heading towards a big box-office figure-though, not that gigantic. But the threequel in Thor series has now officially become the 7th highest grossing movie of 2017! Yes, you heard it right and not just that, the Taika Waititi blockbuster has even beat this year’s summer storm, DC’s Wonder Woman too!
With a global, worldwide collection of around $833.7 million, Ragnarok has now officially gone past Wonder Woman’s global hall of $821.8 million.
The film has also become the fourth superhero film to cross the mark of $300 million at US domestic box-office.
Thor: Ragnarok has also continued the ‘Marvel-ous’ streak of all the MCU movies, becoming the 17th consecutive movie in the franchise to open on #1 at domestic box-office registers, with the Marvel becoming the first ever comics franchise or universe to cross $5 billion, on just domestic box-office!
Well, now it will be very-very crucial from here, how much Ragnarok is able to amass from the remaining show times, since Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be opening this week and it’s just a known fact that it will destroy every film on the box-office upon its arrival.
Thor: Ragnarok is still running successfully in theatres. If anyone of you has not yet watched it, go and get the experience of the best solo Thor film, to date!
