The Nokia 6.1 Plus has been launched in Hong Kong by HMD Global, and will be available for consumers from July 24th, 2018-being reported by NDTV Gadgets. The 6.1 Plus is the global variant of Nokia X6. After launching Nokia X5 in China and Nokia 3.1 in India, this is the new phone model being released by the Finnish company.
The highlight of the Nokia 6.1 Plus are its AI camera features which have been highly touted.
The phone has got an aluminium design and comes with 5.8inch Full HD+ ‘notched display’, protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Since the phone is also an Android One device, it will get regular Google related software updates too, for the OS.
But coming back to the camera again, then the company claims that the HDR imaging abilities provide sharper and clear pictures-being supported by the EIS (electronic image stabilization) for stability. The rear has a dual setup of 16MP+5MP lenses while the front comes with a 16MP AI camera.
There is also Artificial Intelligence feature which provides option of ‘better vibrancy and contrast, with masks and filters’.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus phone has also got an option for dual Nano SIM. The phone will be available in two colours, Blue and White.
The other specs for the model include the OS platform of Android Orep 8.1 out-of-the-box, while the performance is taken care of by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 SoC. The storage comes with 4GB/64 and can be expanded upto a huge-huge 400GB. The battery capacity is 3060mAh (supports quick charge feature).
Though, the pricing details have not been announced yet.
