To mark the 71st anniversary of India’s Independence, Anil Ambani-led Reliance Communications (RCom) on Monday launched a new tariff plan for its prepaid subscribers, called the “Data Ki Azadi” offer. The new RCom “Data Ki Azadi” plan offers its prepaid subscribers unlimited mobile internet data with a validity of 365 days. Under this special tariff plan, RCom prepaid customers recharging with Rs. 70 can avail free unlimited 1GB of 2G mobile data per day for a period of 365 days or one year, totalling 365GB 2G data for the period.
Further, the plan offers a main talk time balance of Rs. 56, so that RCom subscribers can make calls on the other networks. The “Data Ki Azadi” plan has been launched in the country exclusively for the Independence Day occasion, it will be effective starting from today (August 14) and will be available only for next 2 days (until August 16, 2017).
Besides this, the company also confirmed that all RCom customers having GSM SIM cards and recharging with Rs. 70 will receive 1GB 2G data per day for 365 days, while RCom customers with LTE SIM cards will also get the same 2G data benefit per day for 1 year. The new plan is applicable for all customers and any region in the country. Unfortunately, the RCom data plan is restricted to the 2G network only, while other telecom operator’s benefit works on 3G/4G networks.
Indian telecom operator, Reliance Communications has recently launched a new tariff plan of Rs. 299 in the country, where the company offers its pre-paid customers unlimited voice calling, unlimited texts or SMS and unlimited mobile internet data for 28 days. Sadly, we don’t have any words about the RCom Rs. 299 recharge plan’s FUP details.
