Anil Ambani-led Reliance Communications (RCom) has updated its tariff plans with the launch of a new and affordable data-centric recharge pack, called the “Rs. 93 Pack” for its prepaid subscribers. The RCom Rs. 93 recharge plan offers its customers 1GB 4G mobile data per day with a validity of 28 days. Under this special recharge plan, RCom prepaid customers recharging with Rs. 93 can avail 1GB 4G data per day for a period of 28 days, totalling 28GB data for the period (2GB of 4G data for 4G subscribers and 26GB of 4G Lite [2G/3G] data). All RCom prepaid subscribers having 2G/3G/4G-enabled handsets can avail this offer and enjoy the company’s best value voice and data proposition in the said period. The company has confirmed this news on its official Twitter handle. Note that, the new recharge plan is applicable for all RCom prepaid subscribers across the country except the Gujarat circle.

Earlier this month, RCom also launched a new affordable recharge plan, called the “Freedom Pack” or its prepaid subscribers. Under this special tariff plan, RCom prepaid customers recharging with Rs. 349 can avail free unlimited voice calling to any network and any region in the country along with 1GB data per day for a period of 28 days, totalling 28GB data for the period (5GB of 4G data for 4G subscribers and 23GB of 4G Lite [2G/3G] data). Talking about the Freedom Pack’s FUP details, RCom offers a cap of 150 minutes of outgoing calls within a single day and here the plan gets a minus point because the other telecom operators offer a cap of 300 minutes of outgoing calls within a single day and 1200 minutes of outgoing calls per week.

Apart from this offer, Reliance Communications also announced a new tariff plan, called the Rs. 193 plan aka “ROZANA OFFER”, where the telecom operator offers its subscribers 1GB of 3G mobile data per day along with 30 minutes of voice calling facility to any network and any region in the country for a period of 28 days. All RCom prepaid subscribers with 3G or 4G-enabled handsets can avail this offer and enjoy the company’s best value voice and data proposition in the said period.

Besides this plan, there is also an affordable tariff plan, called the “RCom Rs. 147 Plan” for its prepaid subscribers. Under this “Rs. 147 tariff plan”, RCom customers from any corner of India (where RCom has its operations) recharging with Rs. 147 plan can avail 1GB of 3G mobile data per day for a period of 28 days, totalling 28GB of 3G mobile data for the period. Note that, the new tariff plan is applicable for RCom 3G customers only.

Besides these plans, RCom has a few more attractive plans such as the “Data Ki Azadi” plan, “Shagun” plan and much more. RCom “Data Ki Azadi” plan offers its prepaid subscribers 1GB of 2G mobile data per day for a period of 365 days or one year, totalling 365GB 2G data for the period. On the other hand, the RCom “Shagun” plan, which was launched by the telco in order to celebrate the Onam festival. Under this “Shagun” plan, RCom prepaid subscribers recharging with Rs. 101 can avail Rs. 50 talk time balance along with 1GB of mobile data with a validity period of 28 days. On the other hand, the company’s Rs. 299 tariff plan offers its pre-paid customers unlimited voice calling, unlimited texts or SMS and unlimited mobile internet data for 28 days.

With the launch of its new Rs. 93 data-centric recharge plan and other affordable recharge plans, Reliance Communications is aggressively going to compete against its rival telecom operators — Reliance Jio, Vodafone, Idea Cellular, Bharti Airtel and others.
