As we reported earlier, Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio created a small wave in the telecom environment by introducing its highly affordable voice and data-centric combo plans. Reliance Jio has changed the entire telecom industry with its affordable tariff plans and forced the other telecom giants to reduce their data and calling rates. If you don’t remember, Reliance Jio rolled out its services officially on 1 September 2016, and now it has already crossed over 100 million user base. A couple of weeks ago, Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio also announced their much-awaited 4G VoLTE-enabled feature phone, dubbed as “JioPhone” in Indian market with an “effective price” of Rs. 0 (Zero). And now, in order to celebrate the festival of lights (Diwali), Reliance Jio has refreshed its 4G tariff plans for its both new and existing prepaid subscribers offering best data and voice calling facility at affordable rates, which start from a minimal amount of Rs. 19 and go up to Rs. 4,999.
Interestingly, the company also launched a new Rs. 399 Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan plan, after the old Rs. 309 plan. Apart from this, the Mukesh Ambani-led company has also announced a mouth-watering offer on this recharge plan. Reliance Jio prepaid customers now can avail 100 percent cash back on every recharge with Rs. 399. However, the cashback offer is valid for the period of October 12 and October 18. The new offer will be effective from October 19 and can be availed from the Reliance Jio store, Reliance Digital store, MyJio app, Jio.com, Partner retail stores, or via various wallets like JioMoney, Paytm, Mobikwik, Amazon Paym or PhonePe. However, the new set of 4G tariff plans offer unlimited voice calling including Local, STD, and national roaming, high-speed data, along with free SMSes, and access to the company’s apps. With its new tariff plans, Jio has increased the rate of some of its earlier plans, decreased the daily FUP limit of its earlier plans and also reduced the plan’s validity period. For example, the Jio Rs. 399 recharge plan offers its prepaid subscribers unlimited voice calling (all network Local + STD) and 1GB data per day for 70 days on a recharge of just Rs. 399. On the other hand, the new Rs. 459 recharge plan offers its prepaid subscribers unlimited voice calling (any network Local + STD) and 1GB 4G data per day for 84 days on a recharge of just Rs. 459. Basically, the 84-days validity plan with 1GB data per day now costs Rs. 459 and the current Rs. 399 now comes with 70-days validity period.
Here we have all the details of Reliance Jio’s new prepaid plans:
Reliance Rs. 52 Plan: Under this recharge, the Reliance Jio prepaid customers recharging with Rs. 52 can avail unlimited voice calling facility (all networks, Local+STD), 70 SMSes, along with 1.05GB of 4G data (a daily FUP limit of 0.15GB) for a validity period of 7 days.
Reliance Jio Rs. 98 plan: The Reliance Jio prepaid customers recharging with Rs. 98 can avail unlimited voice calling facility (all networks, Local+STD), 140 SMSes, along with 2.1GB of 4G data (a daily FUP limit of 0.15GB) for a validity period of 14 days.
Reliance Jio Rs. 149 plan: This plan offers free unlimited voice calling (all networks, Local + STD) and 4.2GB of 4G data for 28 days. Under this “Rs. 149” recharge plan, Jio prepaid customers recharging with Rs. 149 can avail free unlimited voice calling to all networks and any region in the country, 300 SMSes, along with 4.2GB of 4G data (a daily FUP limit of 0.15GB) for a period of 28 days.
Reliance Jio Rs. 399 plan: Jio prepaid subscribers recharging with Rs. 399 can avail free unlimited voice calling to any network and any region (Local + STD) in the country, unlimited SMSes, along with 1GB of 4G mobile data per day for a period of 70 days, totalling 70GB 4G data for the period.
Reliance Jio Rs. 459 plan: Under this “Rs. 459 Plan” recharge scheme, Jio prepaid subscribers recharging with Rs. 459 can avail free unlimited voice calling to any network and any region (Local + STD) in the country, unlimited SMSes, along with 1GB of 4G data per day for a period of 84 days, totalling 84GB of 4G data for the period.
Reliance Jio Rs. 509 plan: Under this “Rs. 509” recharge scheme, Jio subscribers recharging with Rs. 509 can avail free unlimited voice calling to any network and any region in the country, unlimited SMSes, along with 2GB of 4G data per day for a period of 49 days, totalling 98GB of 4G data for the period.
Reliance Jio Rs. 999 plan: This plan of Reliance Jio offers unlimited local and STD calls to all networks along with 60GB of 4G data with no daily FUP limit for 90 days. This plan also comes with free SMSes and Jio apps.
Reliance Jio Rs. 1,999 plan: Under this recharge scheme, Jio subscribers recharging with Rs. 1,999 can avail free unlimited voice calling (Local + STD), unlimited SMSes, along with 125GB of 4G data for 180 days. There’s no set FUP limit for the subscribers.
Reliance Jio Rs. 4,999 plan: This plan offers free unlimited voice calling (all networks, Local + STD) and a total of 350GB high-speed data for 1 year or 360 days. This plan also offers free unlimited SMSes with no FUP limit.
Apart from these plans, there is also a small recharge plan, called the “Jio Rs. 19 plan”. Under this recharge scheme, Jio prepaid users recharging with Rs. 19 can enjoy 150MB internet data for 1 day.
