Sridevi who worked with Anil Kapoor in hit movies like Mr. India , Lamhe, Laadla, Judaai, and became popular on-screen couples could reunite for ‘Mr. India 2’. Interestingly, producer Boney Kapoor had announced long back that he is planning a sequel to Mr. India. Reports gave information that the film would be titled as Mr. India 2 and would feature Anil Kapoor and Sridevi reprising their roles from the original film
The film is being planned to shoot in 3 D. However, there will be two new faces in the movie, but, the lead actor would be Sridevi and Ani Kapoor who will reunite on the screen after two decades. Like the original we will miss iconic character Mogambo, played by Amrish Puri and few kid stars too, In addition, the film Mr. India 2 will not be directed by Shekhar Kapoor. Boney is look out for a new director to helm the whole script which was in scripting stage since 2012 and finally got over with a solid script.
Sridevi who is busy in promotional duties of her upcoming movie MOM will soon be back soon for filming the movie. Who will be the director of the sequel, Boney Kapoor will announce very soon.
