Its still one week to go for the grand release of Disney-Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok, but it seems the rest of the world has welcomed it, very lovingly. The movie has been pre-released in some international markets where it has already accumulated $28 million.
The countries where ‘Ragnarok’ is swaying the audience are U.K ($6.7 million), France ($3 million), Australia ($2 million) and South Korea ($3.8 million). This is the biggest opening ever for a movie released in October.
As per the projections, the movie is already touted to become one of the biggest opening weekend winners from Marvel, domestically in the US, with the prediction meters reaching upto $125 million!
And another good news for the ‘rest’ of the Thor fans in other regions, apart from North America, is that by this Sunday, the movie will be opened in other markets too, like Spain, Turkey, South Africa and Sweden. Sorry US fans, you will have to wait till November 3rd.
Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett and Mark Ruffalo.
