Vidya Balan starrer Tumhari Sulu is about to touch ₹15 crore mark on the box-office! And this is when it was released alongside DC’s Justice League, last Friday. The superhero movie is also going good on the Indian box-office, but Tumhari Sulu has shined brightly, after a string of other Bollywood films not doing well, in the past weeks.
The film directed by Suresh Triveni has so far taken in ₹14.71 crore, in a span of Friday-Monday.
The film also features Manav Kaul, Neha Dhupia and real-life RJ Malishka.
On Friday, the film opened with lower-than expected ₹2.87 cr, then went good on Saturday and even Sunday, with ₹4.61 cr and ₹5.39 cr, respectively. Monday went colder, as it could gain only ₹1.84 cr.
Distributed by T-Series, Tumhari Sulu has gained a lot of rave reviews from mostly every critic and Vidya’s performance, especially, has been applauded by each and every film analyst.
