The God of cricket, the Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar recently mad a big revelation about his career. Sachin in a recent interview revealed how he improved his bat swing.
Sachin disclosed while speaking at the launch of a new sporting line. Spartan sports has launched a new line of sporting wear “Sachin By Spartan”. During the interview Sachin revealed that a Waiter approached him in Chennai. The Waiter asked Sachin if he could give him a little bit of advice. The waiter revealed that Sachin’s elbow pad restricted his forearm’s movement. The restriction in movement affected his bat swing.

Sachin being a perfectionist took the advice to heart. He immediately acted upon it. He reworked his elbow pad. The redesigned Elbow pad had more fibre and cushion to protect from injuries. According to Sachin the advice worked wonders for him.
The personal anecdote shared by Sachin has a deep meaning behind it as well. Even the best batsmen in the world never let his talent go to his head. He still was so down to earth that he actually listened to the advice and worked on it. As Sachin himself put it ” If you have an open mind, you can develop so many things”.
During the event, Sachin also shared a funny incident from IPL. The incident involved Dwayne Bravo and Keiron Pollard. The duo constantly inquired why he knocked his bats on his knuckles. Sachin told them that’s because the bat speaks to me and we have our own language. Bravo and Pollard decided to pull a prank on Sachin. They put out 4 bats and asked Sachin which bat should bravo use today. Sachin knocked each bat and found all the bats to be in good condition. Then, Bravo pulled out a bat from his bag and asked what about this. Apparently this bat was Bravo’s Match bat and he was just testing Sachin. Of course Sachin passed his test again proving why he’s the greatest.
