DC’s Wonder Woman has smashed all the records so far and has now achieved yet another feat. Patty Jenkins’s epic directorial is now officially the 5th highest grossing superhero domestic movie, in the entire North America. Just recently, the movie touched the figure of $409.1 million, thus, eventually entering the league of top 5 biggest superhero movies of all time, domestically.
After the movie got an IMAX release, the ticket sales got a slight increase and, resulted in Princess Diana’s powerful impact on the box-office.
Now, Wonder Woman stands only behind four other superhero movies on the US domestic box-office chart in the history. The other four spots are ruled by The Avengers ($623 million), The Dark Knight ($534 million), Avengers: Age of Ultron ($459 million) and The Dark Knight Rises ($448 million).
Distributed by Warner Bros. and starring Gal Gadot, Wonder Woman is now out for digital download and will be arriving on BluRay on September 19th, 2017.
