It seems like writing one thing again and again.Visiting bowlers start promisingly but slowly Indian batsmen start making them toil hard.
One of the hottest affairs of cricket on the internet started promisingly but errors lead the way to just another day of modern Indian test matches.
Lets take a look at the performances today:
Murali Vijay played with composure and went on to score another century (108 off 160 balls). His scores in the first Test of recent series now read 108, 126, 31, 65, 76, 7, 75, 47 and 150. He didn’t started very convincingly but slowly added method to his strokes.
He was given a reprieve in the form of a run out miss early in his innings.Vijay made sure to make good use of that.
Virat Kohli’s dream run just doesn’t want to end.The Indian skipper scored a 130 ball 100. He was quite firm in his approach starting his innings with 2 boundaries in first 3 balls.Later in the day,he made full use of the second new ball and scored at almost 7 an over.
While Cheteshwar Pujara fell 17 short of a century,Ajinkya Rahane (45*) made sure that India has no further hiccups in the day.Pujara combined with Vijay for a partnership of 178 against a good but not enough bangladesh attack.
Taijul Islam was the pick of the bangladesh bowlers looking the most decent. Mehedi Hasan created chances initially but wasn’t able to get a wicket.
Taskin Ahmed cleaned up K.L. Rahul on 2 to give the early boost to visitors but couldn’t capitalize.
As much as we want India to win , nothing compares to a riveting game of cricket. We look forward to a more promising effort from the tigers.
Brief Scores: India 356/3 (Virat Kohli 111*, Murali Vijay 108; Taijul Islam 1-46) vs Bangladesh.
