Chinese smartphone company iVoomi on Thursday expanded its budget smartphone portfolio with the launch of its two new entry-level smartphones, namely iVoomi Me4 and iVoomi Me5 in the Indian tech market. The new iVoomi Me4 has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 3,499, while the iVoomi Me5 has been priced at Rs. 4,499. Both the new smartphones will be made available for purchase starting from today exclusively via e-commerce website Flipkart.com. The iVoomi Me4 comes in three body colour options including Champagne Gold, Slate Grey and Midnight Black, while iVoomi Me5 comes in Champagne Gold and Carbon Black colours only. The most interesting fact is that both the entry-level smartphones run Google’s latest Android 7.0 Nougat and support 4G VoLTE.
iVoomi Me4 Specifications and Features:
Starting with the smaller version, the iVoomi Me4 comes equipped with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a screen resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.1GHz MediaTek quad-core processor coupled with Mali T720 GPU to handle the graphics. In terms of memory, the new iVoomi Me4 is backed up by a 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. Talking about its software front, the iVoomi Me4 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box. For photography, the iVoomi Me4 houses a 5-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash module. On the front, it sports an another 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for capturing selfies and making video calls.
In terms of connectivity, the iVoomi Me4 offers various connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone socket, and a microUSB port. On the battery front, it comes packed with a 2,000mAh Li-ion polymer battery. Dimensionally, the handset measures 136 x 66.8 x 10.2mm and weighs 113 grams. Apart from these specifications, the smartphone also comes preloaded with Indian regional lingoes that enables communication in 22 regional languages including Hindi, Assamese, Punjabi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, Nepali, Bodo, Telugu, Urdu, Sindhi, Odia, Sanskrit, Kashmiri, Dogri, Maithili, Santhali, Konkani, and Manipuri.
iVoomi Me5 Specifications:
Moving on the bigger version, the iVoomi Me5 sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 720 × 1280 pixels and scratch resistance 2.5D curved glass coating on top of the display. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz Spreadtrum quad-core processor clubbed with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. On the software front, the new iVoomi Me5 also runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
In terms of optics, the iVoomi Me5 features an 8-megapixel rear camera with and an LED flash. On the front, it sports a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for capturing selfies. The connectivity options offered by the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone socket, and a microUSB port. On the battery front, it is fuelled by a decent 3,000mAh battery. Dimension wise, the handset measures 145 x 72 x 9mm and weighs 130 grams.
