Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xioami has recently launched its latest mid-range Mi 5X smartphone at an event in Beijing, China along with MIUI 9 custom ROM. Alongside, the company has also announced a new Mercury Silver Edition of its premium Mi 6 smartphone with refreshed outlook and some smart features. To recall, Xiaomi first unveiled the Mi 6 premium smartphone in April this year in two different colour variants – Blue and Silver. The Mi 6 Blue variant has gone on sale in various markets, while Mi 6 Mercury Silver Edition never went on sale due to some production issues. At the time of launch, the company also promised that they would bring this phone to the market in a few days.
