Home-bred two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company on Monday launched the new Matte series of colours for its popular scooter, TVS Scooty Zest 110 with Bharat Stage-IV emission norms (BS IV Engine) in India. Priced at Rs. 48,038 (ex-showroom Delhi), the new matte variant will now be available in the striking Matte series comprising 4 attractive colour options– Matte Blue, Matte Red, Matte Yellow and Matte Black in addition to Pearl Peach, Powerful Pink, Turquoise Blue, and Citrus Orange in the standard variant (already available in the market).
Design wise, the new TVS Scooty Zest 110 also comes with a range of new features, that include an all-new 3D logo, under seat storage light, silver oak interior panels and dual tone seat colours. The enhanced styling and new colours make the TVS Scooty catalogue more exciting, desirable and appealing to all our customers, according to a company statement.
In terms of specifications and features, the BS-IV compliant TVS Scooty Zest 110 has the fastest acceleration in its category and it is now equipped with Daytime Running Lamp (DRL). The TVS Scooty Zest 110 also features a USB charging point for Android, iOS and windows smartphones. The scooter has an under seat storage capacity of 19 litres, a front glovebox compartment as well as an additional under seat helmet hook.
Talking about its mechanical department, The TVS Scooty Zest 110 is powered by a 110 cc CVTi engine that generates 8bhp of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 8.7 Nm of peak torque available at 5,500 rpm. The Scooty Zest engine unit is paired to a CVT automatic transmission and can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/hr in just 11.1 seconds. The company claims the TVS Scooty Zest 110 gives a fuel efficiency figure of 62 km per litre (best in its class). The new TVS Scooty will be available across all TVS Motor Company showrooms in the country.
