Fastrack, the Titan owned brand on Monday launched a new health and activity tracker called “Reflex” in the Indian markets with a price tag of Rs. 1995. Fastrack is popular in the country for its product and the accessories targeting young age groups. The new device comes with fitness tracker support and sleep data facility, which shows calories consumed and physical activities. Fastrack Reflex will be available in various colours, and each of the variants consists of dual-colour bands. Interestingly, the outside of the band has one colour and the inside part has a different colour.

Let’s take a quick look at the specs and the features of Reflex:-

The first Activity Tracker of the company sports an OLED Display that allows the users to get useful information like notifications for phone calls, SMS, physical activity related information and the amount of calories consumed. If you have been inactive for a while, Fastrack Reflex notifies the users with equipped sedentary remainder.

It is compatible with both operating systems Google Android and Apple iOS. Fastrack Reflex has a separate Reflex app for Android and iOS that is compatible with iOS 8/Android 4.4 and above. Reflex also features vibration alerts for alarms, date and battery level alerts as well.

Being an activity tracker primarily, the Reflex stores up to 15 days of user activity (number of steps taken, calories burnt, distance covered and the daily goal achieved percentage) and can pass on the information to accompanying Android app or Apple iOS.

Unfortunately, the Fastrack Reflex doesn’t have a heart rate sensor. Notably, Fastrack Reflex is a splash resistant but not completely water proof, which means you can’t wear it while taking a shower or swimming.

In terms of charging, the Fitness Tracker comes with micro USB port and can be charged using any USB adapter or USB ports of laptops and desktop PCs. Fastrack Reflex will need recharge once every week; but it can be fully charged within just 60 minutes. Fastrack claims the fitness gear can last up to 14 days on a single charge. The company is also promising regular software updates to keep enhancing user experience.

The wearable Reflex will primarily available across all major stores in India, including Fastrack official stores, World of Titan and other offline stores from today (March 13). Fastrack Reflex will directly compete with the Xiaomi Mi Band 2, one of the best activity trackers in the same price (Rs. 1999). But Mi Band 2 has an advantage of integrated passive heart rate sensor on board. A passive heart rate sensor doesn’t continuously check your heart rate, which makes it less useful.

The activity tracker also shows notifications for incoming phone calls, text messages and vibration alerts for alarms as well. Photo Courtesy;- Fastrack
