South Korean tech giant Samsung on Thursday reintroduced its popular Galaxy J5 Prime and Galaxy J7 Prime smartphone in the Indian tech markets with upgraded internal storage. Now, the Galaxy J5 Prime and Galaxy J7 Prime come with 32GB internal onboard storage. The new 32GB variants of the Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime and Galaxy J7 Prime are priced at Rs 14,900 and Rs 16,900 respectively. And both the variants will be made available for purchase via the Samsung’s official e-store online and the major retailer stores across the country. Samsung has announced the launch and availability of these new storage variants through company’s official Twitter account. The tweet reads, “Get more space than before! #GalaxyJ7 J5Prime now come in a 32GB variant for more room for your favourites. Buy now!”

To recall, Galaxy J5 Prime and Galaxy J7 Prime were first unveiled in India with 16GB internal storage in October/ September last year. Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime with 16GB internal storage was launched in India for Rs 14,790 and it is now retailing at a price tag of Rs. 13,790 via e-commerce website, while the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime with 16GB internal storage is now retailing at Rs 15,900 e-commerce website against its previous price of Rs 18,790. Back in April, a reputed Mumbai-based offline retailer MaheshTelecom tweeted that the new 32GB storage model of the Galaxy J7 Prime will go on sale for Rs. 16,900.
Both the smartphones come equipped with Samsung’s exclusive, S Power planning and S Secure features. The S Power planning feature offers users save phone’s battery life with three options –extended battery life, reserve battery for calls, and forward calls when the battery ends. And the S Secure feature allow users to hide and lock apps, secure Wi-Fi network connection and create a separate Secure folder for applications and images.
