After launching the ZenPad 3S 8.0 (Z582KL) tablet, Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer Asus on Wednesday added an another member, the “Asus ZenPad 10” to its ZenPad tablet series at the ongoing Computex 2017 trade show event in Taipei. As of now, Asus has not revealed the pricing details and availability of the ZenPad 10 tablet. Model wise, the new Asus ZenPad 10 tablet has been launched in two variants, Asus ZenPad 10 (Z301MFL) and Asus ZenPad 10 (Z301ML). Both the tablets come equipped with 10-inch display, Android 7.0 Nougat and feature almost the same specifications. Basically, the Asus ZenPad 10 (Z301MFL) and Asus ZenPad 10 (Z301ML) tablets sport a similar design, features and specifications except their screen resolution, and power processing unit. However, both the 10-inch tablets will be made available for purchase in three attractive body colour options- Royal Blue, Pearl White and Quartz Gray.

In terms of specifications, Asus ZenPad 10 (Z301MFL) sports a 10.1-inch LED display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a 1.45GHz MediaTek MT8735A quad-core processor paired with Mali-T720MP2 GPU to handle the graphics. In terms of memory, the Asus ZenPad 10 (Z301MFL) comes in three native storage variants– ZenPad 10 with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, and the ZenPad 10 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The memory storage can be further expanded up to 128GB via a dedicated micro SD card slot. On the software front, the ZenPad 10 (Z301MFL) runs on Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
In terms of optics, Asus ZenPad 10 (Z301MFL) features a 5-megapixel rear camera. On the front, it has a 2-megapixel resolution front-facing shooter for making video calls and capturing selfies.
In terms of connectivity, the Asus ZenPad 10 (Z301MFL) tablet offers various connectivity options including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 ac/b/g/n), Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/AGPS/Glonass, a 3.5mm Audio port, USB OTG, two stereo speakers, and a USB Type-C port for super-fast charging and data transfer. Sensors on the tablet include a Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, and E-Compass and Gyroscope sensor. The device packs an 18Wh non-removable battery. Dimension wise, it measures 251.77 x 172.17 x 8.95mm and weighs 490 grams. Interestingly, the ZenPad 10 (Z301MFL) will be launched with a Bluetooth keyboard dock.

On the other side, Asus ZenPad 10 Z301ML also sports a 10-inch display that offers a lower screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It is powered by a MediaTek MT8753W quad-core processor, clock speed at 1.3 GHz. Apart from these details, all the other specs of this tablet, as well as its operating system, camera, storage, measurement, weight and colour, are same as ZenPad 10 Z301MFL model. And once again, we don’t have any information about the pricing details and availability of the tablets.
