Lyca Productions has announced that the Hindi version of their upcoming film, 2.O will be distributed by AA Films, that has distributed the S. S. Rajamouli’s ‘ Baahubali: The Conclusion’. A month earlier, Lyca Productions had also stated that it will have strong tie-ups with PVR multiplexes for the screening of the above film. The film stars two titanic stars Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth from the north and the south cinema.  In addition, the film will not release on Diwali this year but stands postponed until January 25, 2018, according to the sources.

For the first time, the maker of the film will bring South Indian Super Star Rajinikanth and Bollywood Super Star Akshay Kumar on the silver screen. In this film, Rajinikanth will be seen as playing the hero character where else Akshay will play the role of antagonist for the first time in his career. The film will have promotional launch throughout India and even in Dubai. The promotional budget of the film is estimated to be worth Rs 40 crore across the nation. The theatrical rights for the Hindi version were recently bought for Rs 80 crore.

The film will be more expensive than Baahubali-2. The total budget of the film is pegged at Rs 400 crore and it is most expensive film till date. Touted to be a visual treat for all, the film will have VFX included. The inclusion of graphics has, in fact, postponed the film release. Earlier, it was stated that the film will release in Diwali this year, now we hear that the film will be ready for release on January 25, 2018.

For the first time, an Indian film has been shot in 3-D camera which has led to the price of the film scale  high. However, the maker of the film has a hope that the film will be a real game changer. It is learnt that the shooting of the film has been wrapped up and special effect technique of the film is still in progress at many VFX studios. The film is in post-production still after the shooting was wrapped up last month.

This upcoming Indian science fiction film is written and directed by S. Shankar and it is a sequel to the 2010 Tamil film Enthiran. The film will feature Rajinikanth reprising the roles Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti, along with Akshay Kumar,  Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain narrating other characters. A. R. Rahman is has composed the music of the film. The film holds huge expectation from the public after Baabhibali-2 release now.
