After posting a series of many teasers, now it seems like that the Chinese PC and tablet manufacturer Lenovo is all set to introduce its latest killer smartphone, called the “Lenovo K8 Note” in the Indian tech market on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. The company has already started sending out “save the date” media invites for its upcoming premium smartphone launch event, where the Lenovo K8 Note India price and availability details will be revealed. Lenovo has started teasing the launch of a killer smartphone in the Note series for the past few days on its official social media channels. Earlier, it was also speculated that the company will unveil the K6 Note’s successor K7 Note but a new teaser confirmed that the Lenovo will launch the K8 Note at the event.
So now the question is why is Lenovo going straight to 8, apparently skipping Lenovo K7? It seems like a mysterious matter, OnePlus in the past also followed same line or policy by launching the OnePlus 5 after the OnePlus 3T. However, time will answer your queries. Lenovo India on Friday shared a GIF teaser image about the Lenovo’s killer smartphone launch event on its official Twitter account. The Tweet reads, “Most of you did get it right! The #LenovoK8Note will #KillTheOrdinary & leave the rest behind! Ready to see it uncage on 09.08.17? Save it!” If the company’s predictions (the phone will kill the ordinary smartphones) are to be believed, the Lenovo K8 Note would see a significant overhaul in terms of specifications and arrive with a host of improvements.
