Hong-Kong based smartphone manufacturer Infinix on Tuesday entered the Indian smartphone market with the launch of two new budget-oriented smartphones, namely Infinix Hot 4 Pro and Infinix Note 4. The new Infinix Hot 4 Pro and Infinix Note 4 smartphones have been launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 7,499 and Rs. 8,999 respectively. Both the smartphones will be made available for purchase in India starting August 3 (Thursday) exclusively via e-commerce website Flipkart.com. Note that, the Infinix Hot 4 Pro will be available from 11:59 PM IST on Thursday in Quartz Black, Bordeaux Red and Magic Gold colour options, while the Infinix Note 4 will be available from 12:00 PM IST on the same day in Champagne Gold, Milan Black and Ice Blue colour options.
As we reported earlier, the Transsion Holdings-owned smartphone brand updated its Indian website teasing five smartphones to come in the country — Infinix Note 4, Note 4 Pro, Zero 5, Hot 4, and Hot 4 Pro. Among these five models, the brand has launched only two models, rest of the models might be launched in coming days.
As part of an introductory offer, Flipkart is giving best buying offers on the purchase of Infinix Hot 4 Pro and Infinix Note 4 smartphones that include two-month free Hotstar Premium subscription, extra 15% off on Flipkart Fashion and Lifestyle category on August 5- August 6. Apart from this, the e-commerce website is also offering an exchange discount of up to Rs. 7,000 for the Infinix Hot 4 Pro and Rs. 8,500 for the Infinix Note 4. On the other hand, Idea subscribers will get 84GB 4G data with no daily limit for 3 months at Rs. 443. Interestingly, both the smartphones come bundled with a one-year free screen replacement guarantee which is applicable within the first 100 days from the date of activation of the device.
Infinix Hot 4 Pro Specifications:
Infinix Hot 4 Pro comes equipped with a 5.5-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor clubbed with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. Talking about its software front, the Infinix Hot 4 Pro runs company’s proprietary XOS custom UI skin, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. In terms of photography, the Infinix Hot 4 Pro houses a 13-megapixel with fixed focus and an LED flash module. On the front, the smartphone features a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter with autofocus and a soft LED flash for capturing bright selfies even low light conditions.
The smartphone also features a rear-mounted fingerprint recognition button for biometric security. On the battery front, the device is fuelled by a denser 4,000mAh battery. Infinix Note 4 sports a 5.7-inch full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with a scratch resistance 2.5D curved glass coating on the top for protection. The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 processor octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with a dedicated microSD card slot for memory expansion by up to 128GB. In terms of photography, the Infinix Note 4 features a 13-megapixel main snapper with an f/2.2 aperture, autofocus, ‘Pro’ mode, and dual LED flash. Talking about its selfie camera, the phone bears an 8-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies and video chats. The smartphone also features a front-mounted fingerprint sensor, that is housed underneath the physical Home Button of the device. On the battery front, the Infinix Note 4 comes packed with a high-density 4,300mAh battery with fast charging technology support.
