Essential’s desirous and long-awaited phone and otherwise called PH-1, is going to have its release soon in the UK. Android co-founder Andy Rubin will also be no-doubt curious to see how people react to the phone-Essential is the new venture started by Rubin. But just before release, you can get aware of some key information about this smartphone and how it’s going to get some attention off the upcoming rivals?
Beginning with the design factor, Essential PH-1 will stun anyone while holding in hands and giving it a look. It’s got quite a good finish. The phone uses ceramic and titanium for it’s body-rather than aluminum and glass. So, what does it mean for you? It means that the phone will be resistant to damages and more comfortable to clean. And most important thing-the titanium does helps it to escape some drops! So, its quite protected too-if not completely.
Moving further, and coming officially on the specs, the phone is having a 5.7inch screen (bezel-less). Talking about how it runs and performs, there is a Snapdragon 835 Octa core processor with four cores at 2.45 GHz and four cores at 1.9 GHz .So, that ensures blazing fast smooth run, which is also due to the fact that Essential has tried to just give a better stock OS, and not a bloat ware. And there is a 4 GB RAM to maintain the speed and multitasking.
Now, the camera part-obviously the crucial one. Essential PH-1 sports dual-cameras on the rear, with each one being 13 MP, while, the front camera is 8 MP. And yes, both the front and rear cameras have got the ability to shoot 4K videos too. One more plus feature of Essential’s camera is that it is a 360 degree shooter!
It’s got a good 3040 mAh battery and it’s not bad in any case at all-when considering the fact that Samsung’s S8 has a slightly lower capacity with 3000 mAh. There will also be a finger-print sensor right onto the screen-just like the rumored iPhone 8. Storage is massive with an in-built capacity of 128 GB. Sadly, it cannot be expanded since there is no support for Micro-SD card. But that won’t be really a disappointment-128 GB is more than enough, unless you keep storing multiple 4K videos. There isn’t the traditional 3.5 mm audio jack too.
The Essential phone will be currently available in ‘Black Moon’ and ‘Pure White’ variants. While other two variants ‘Stellar Grey’ and ‘Ocean Depths’ will arrival after some time, post the launch-probably this week or after that.
