Chinese smartphone brand 10.or (pronounced Tenor) on Wednesday officially marked its entry into the Indian smartphone market with the launch of a brand new budget-oriented smartphone, dubbed as the “10.or E” in India. Developed by Chinese firm Shanghai Huaqin Technology, the 10.or E has been launched in the country with a starting price of Rs. 7,999 and will soon be available in India exclusively via e-commerce website Amazon India in Aim Gold and Beyond Black colour options. In the last couple of weeks, India has witnessed the debut of some new smartphone brands like InfinixComio, Nuu Mobile, Jivi Mobiles in the country. Now the 10.or (Tenor) has also announced its debut in India.

Carried a such an attractive price tag, the new 10.or E smartphone comes equipped with a host of smart features and specifications which include stock Android Nougat experience, a fingerprint sensor, 4G VoLTE support, Google personal AI Assistant, and a mammoth 4,000mAh battery. Apart from this, the smartphone also comes pre-loaded with Amazon apps like Amazon Shopping, Kindle and Prime Video. Another thing is that the 10.or E comes in two variant based on its RAM and internal storage configuration: 10.or E with 2GB RAM & 16GB internal storage and 10.or E with 3GB RAM & 32GB internal storage. As for pricing, the 10.or E is priced at Rs. 7,999 for the 2GB RAM & 16GB native storage variant, while for the top-spec variant with 3GB RAM & 32 GB native storage variant, you have to pay Rs. 8,999.

Talking about its specifications, the 10.or E (Tenor E) sports a 5.2-inch full-HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of the display. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core chipset clubbed with Adreno 505 image processing unit. In terms of memory, the phone comes loaded with a 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of native storage, which is further expandable up to 128GB with the help of aa dedicated microSD card slot. Talking about its software fronts, the dual-SIM 10.or E (Tenor E) runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box with stock Android UI. The company has promised that the 10.or E will also get the regular security updates as well as Android’s next version Android 8.0 Oreo update pretty soon. The smartphone comes with a metal unibody design and features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, which the company claims it can unlock the device just within 0.2 seconds.

In terms of photography, the 10.or E comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with CMOS sensor, Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), an f/2.0 aperture, and an LED flash. Talking about its selfie camera, the smartphone features a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper with an f/2.0 aperture and a soft LED flash light for capturing bright selfies even in dim light situations.

On the Connectivity front, the device supports dual-SIM, 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth v4.2, and a microUSB port for charging and other connectivity. On the battery front, the 10.or E is backed up by a mammoth 4,000mAh battery, which the company claims it can last up to 2 days on regular use. Sensors on the smartphone include an Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Fingerprint (rear-mounted) sensor, and Proximity sensor. Dimensionally, the handset measures 154.0 x 78.0 x 8.5mm and weighs 150 grams.
