Two films went through the censor board screening yesterday. One of them happens to be the biggies Mersal releasing in less than two weeks on Diwali date. And, the other is the Jai, Anjali and Janani Iyer semi-period horror comedy starrer, Balloon.
Although all eyes are now on Mersal which received a U/A certificate from the CBFC, the teaser for Balloon released a while back left fans wanting for more. And, it looks like they are in for a treat soon.
It has now been confirmed that Balloon has been certified with a U/A certificate by the CBFC without any cuts and will hit screens soon. No release date has been announced for the film directed by Sinish featuring a musical score by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Balloon being distributed by Auraa Cinemas has been bankrolled by 70MM’s TN Arun Balaji and Kandasamy Nandhakumar and, Farmer’s Master Plan Producution’s Dhilip Subbarayan.
