Vijay’s Mersal has delivered one of the biggest and most prolific responses ever recorded in the history of Tamil and Indian cinema. The action entertainer directed by Atlee under the Thenandal Studios Limited banner featuring a musical score by A. R. Rahman has shattered several records in terms of box office collections already in less than two weeks since its release on October 18.
Now, it is being reported that Mersal has scaled another landmark peak and a first-of-its-kind too.
Apparently, the teaser, trailer, and songs of Mersal have hit the 100+ million (10 crore+) mark in streaming across all the digital platforms.
This is a massive world record and will no doubt give immense joy to ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s fans as well as the makers of the film.
