Even before its official big, thunderous release this Friday, Thor: Ragnarok has hit the ‘bull’s eye’ with a whopping $107 million on International Box Office. In 52% of the overseas markets where it has already been released, the movie has performed like a magic and has topped all the regions-even before reaching US theatres!
Taikia Waititi’s ultimate directorial has been a champion in every country and UK is on top of the list where it has garnered around $15.8 million, which is the biggest October release in UK (only James Bond movies have fared better in the past). Rest of the regions include Australia ($8.4 million), Brazil ($8.3 million), France ($7.4 million), Indonesia ($5.5 million), Taiwan ($5.4 million) and New Zealand ($2.2 million).
The movie is the sequel to 2013’s Thor: The Dark World and is the third installment in the God of Thunder’s series.
It’s now absolutely certain and sure that Ragnarok will destroy the box-office this Friday and win the opening weekend war too!
