Home-grown handset manufacturer Zen Mobiles on Thursday expanded its Admire series of smartphone portfolio with the launch of a new affordable 4G-enabled smartphone, dubbed as the “Zen Admire Unity” in the Indian tech market. Carried a price tag of Rs. 5,099, the new Zen Admire Unity will be made available for purchase in India starting from tomorrow (November 10) in Black, Blue, Pink and Gold colour options. Along with this smartphone, the company also announced a 365-day handset replacement offer, where Zen Mobiles will replace the faulty smartphone with the same or equivalent model. This service can be availed across all the 750+ ZEN service centres across the country.

However, the economical price of the smartphone might suggest a device with weak performance, but the Zen Admire Unity is designed to offer an exceptional entertainment, battery life and productivity experience in its price range. The handset comes with some pre-loaded applications such as Amazon Prime Videos, Vistoso, Go2Pay, Chillx and Zen Store. Apart from this, the Zen Admire Unity also comes pre-loaded with few trial games like Bubble Bash 3, Motocross: Trial Extreme, Modern combat 4.

Commenting on the launch, Deepesh Gupta, CEO, Zen Mobiles, said, “With the launch of Admire Unity, we want to unite the masses in the technological revolution by breaking the language barrier for our consumers so that they can interact, engage, entertain, and connect in their preferred language. Our focus is to enable local customization to serve the unique needs of Indian consumers across Tier II and Tier III markets.”

Zen Admire Unity Specifications and Features: –

In terms of specifications, the Zen Admire Unity comes equipped with a 5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480 pixels by 854 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. In terms of memory storage, the Zen Admire Unity comes loaded with an 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. Now, you can store videos and photos, download/update applications, and install the latest games without worrying about your internal storage space running out. On the software front (OS), the dual-SIM supported Zen Admire Unity runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box.

In terms of photography, the Zen Admire Unity features a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and LED flash for low-light photography. On the front, the smartphone sports a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for capturing selfies and making video calls. The rear camera also supports various photographic modes including GIF and Panorama that allows users to capture the complete landscape. Connectivity options offered by the smartphone include Dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a MicroUSB port for charging and data transfer. On the battery front, the Zen Admire Unity is backed up by a 2,300mAh battery that is rated to deliver a strong battery backup.
