The director duo of Joe and Anthony Russo, is known for giving some brilliant character films in MCU, like Captain America: The Winter Soldier and the very much appreciated, last year’s Captain America: Civil War. And now, in their third and the biggest, epic MCU movie, Avengers: Infinity War, Joe Russo and Anthony Russo have confirmed that we will be getting the most fantastic super villain ever!
Talking about Thanos, probably the main character in Infinity War, Joe and Anthony recently told in an interview that the most anticipated villain in a superhero film (after The Dark Knight, obviously), Thanos (played by Josh Brolin), will be a kind of psychotic and complex character.
“I’m most excited for the audience to learn about him. I think he’s a very interesting and complex villain. That’s why I like him. That’s why I’m excited for the audience to learn about him. I think his motivations, albeit psychotic, are compelling.”
“And I think that in a lot of ways this is his movie, so it’s going to be very interesting to see how people respond to Thanos in the film,” said Joe Russo.
Actor Josh Brolin, who is playing ultimate antagonist, ‘the Mad Titan’, also said previously that people will start hating him, for Thanos, after watching Infinity War!
So, that’s really something big!
Avengers: Infinity War is out on May 4th in the US, April 27th in the UK and April 28th in India.
